My name is Maxwell Feinstein. I live in New Jersey, I like to do a lot of things, and I am passionate about what I do. I’m a bit of an aggressive thinker, so I aspire to be an aggressive doer because I’m pretty sure my life depends on it! I have been described in the newspaper as an "all-purpose enthusiast,” and I truly do enjoy having the opportunity to engage with the world through a variety of professional outlets.

I play Guitar, Bass, and Percussion in addition to singing.
My background is deeply rooted in ear training and improvisation, allowing me to internalize and adapt to new concepts quickly and to compose spontaneously.
I have been performing on stage in one form or another for nearly three decades and have been lucky to do so internationally. I perform solo or accompanied, and I regularly serve as an accompanist for other musicians.
I am equally comfortable and take equal joy in participating in recording sessions.

Recording
Recording studios are such a love affair for me. As a kid I used to capture ideas on micro cassettes and attempt to overdub by plugging my guitar into a karaoke machine, but I stepped into my first real recording studio on January 1st, 2004 and immediately I was set on finding a way to have one of my own.
I have operated Silver Horse Sound in one form or another over the past decade plus with my best friend and frequent collaborator, John Roccesano. We are currently located in Union City, NJ.
I deeply enjoy the recording process and treat editing with nuance, and I also have the benefit of being able to take on remote projects.
I am also available to record on location!
Live Audio (music/theater/corporate)
I have a diverse background as an engineer and technician, including working on events and productions in a variety of roles across different venues, and I have also participated in some commercial audio installations.
I am well-versed in mixing live music and am especially attuned to the nuances of mixing in corporate and conference settings. I am enthusiastic about both and find thrill in every successful event.
